Designers may be charged for using some of AFAB’s services. This Fees & Payments Policy explains your fees and taxes and how to pay them.
Designers are required to pay the following types of fees. Please note that all fees are listed exclusive of any value
Listing Fees Designers will be charged a listing fee of USD25 per month for up to 30 items or USD1 per item. Every change or additional item will be charged USD0.50 per item New Designers (fashion graduates with less than 2 years in the industry) - New designers can list with USD5 per month for up to 10 items. Every change or additional item will be charged USD0.50 per item Listing fees are reflected in your payment account and deducted at the time the listing is published or renewed. It's important to note that listing fees are non-refundable. Revenue-share When you make a sale through AFAB, you are then required to do a revenue-share with AFAB. This revenue-share payable to AFAB shall include the services of copy-writing, photo-editing and content management of your collection. Revenue-share is based on the following categories of which you have confirmed to sign up with AFAB shall take.
- 8% - Total Exclusive on AFAB with no retail presence online or offline anywhere else except selling from your own shop
- 12% - Your Items are Exclusive on AFAB but you are also a Seller on other marketplaces or retail stores.
- 16% - Your items are available at other places both online and retail. Designer should be trusted as a Seller and AFAB reserves the rights to alter the revenue-share percentage of designer if the designer’s declared submission of items based on the definition as above is erroneous. AFAB reserves further rights to take further action if the offense is repeated. Every designer should be a Trusted Seller and an Honorable businessperson.

Any action by a designer to avoid paying a fee is considered fee avoidance and is strictly prohibited by AFAB. This includes, disputing revenue-share and fees as per calculated. A transaction initiated on AFAB is not be completed until the Buyer receives the items with no returns in 7 days. The price stated in each listing description must be an accurate representation of the sale. Designers may not alter the item's price after a sale for the purpose of avoiding AFAB Commission and other fees, misrepresent the item’s location, or use another user's account without permission.Designers shall receive the payment minus revenue-share and other fees of their items sold within 10 working days from the day the Buyer receives the item.
